Check Whether We Serve Your Area

Salt Lake City Masonry works in Salt Lake City and communities across the Wasatch Front, including cities in Salt Lake County, Davis County and parts of Weber and Utah counties. The full list is on our service areas page. If you don't see your city, or you're near the edge of our area, ask anyway.

What Happens After You Send a Request

Salt Lake City Masonry reviews your request and contacts you to talk through the project. Because we're the contractor who does the work, the conversation is with the same business that would carry it out.

Photos help us understand the job and prepare for that conversation, but they're a starting point rather than a diagnosis. Many masonry problems need to be seen in person to judge their cause and extent.

What to Expect From Your Estimate

Your estimate is free. Some things can be discussed right away from your description and photos, such as the type of work involved and the questions it raises. Others depend on an assessment of the masonry itself, including:

Once the scope is clear, the estimate describes the work it covers, so you know exactly what you're comparing. For the details of specific services, see masonry and brick repair, tuckpointing and repointing or chimney repair.

✓

What's causing the damage, especially water or movement.

✓

How far the damage extends, including anything hidden behind veneer or inside a chimney.

✓

Whether matching materials are available.

✓

Whether the project may involve permits, historic review or an engineer.

Tell Us About Your Masonry Project

The more we know up front, the more useful the first conversation will be. A few details make a big difference:

What you're seeing or planning, such as crumbling mortar, a cracked chimney crown, a leaning retaining wall or a new garden wall.

Where it is, including your city and which part of the property.

How long you've noticed it, and whether it seems to be getting worse.

Photos, if you can: one wide shot showing the whole area and a few close ups.

How you'd like us to reach you, by phone or email, and when.

We use the details you send only to respond to your request. See our privacy policy.
